NHS-R Introduction to R and R Studio

The NHS-R Community will be running the Introduction to R and R Studio course on the following dates in 2021.

This one day course will be run on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, further dates will be added later in the year.

The course will be one full day 9.30 am to 4.30 pm

The course will be run by:

Zoe Turner, Senior Information Analyst, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

You will learn about how to import data, wrangle data and produce and export graphs.

Pre-requisites: Assumes no prior experience with R. However, pre-installation of key software is essential. Further details on how to complete this will be sent to you on registration.

About the course: An Introduction to R workshop covering R/RStudio, manipulation of data (dplyr), creating charts (ggplot2) and reports (R Markdown). This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in data analysis using Excel, SQL, Access or uses statistical programmes like SPSS to get started with R and R Studio.
